It was during the Covid pandemic, offering support to school staff that became aware of the issues facing school staff and the factors impacting their welbeing.
I also offer supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and other professionals in the helping profession, especially educators to explore regain balance, set clear boundaries, and develop strategies to manage stress without sacrificing your well-being.
With a focus on your specific experiences and needs, I offer tools and insights to help you thrive both professionally and personally.

Burnout, emotional exhaustion, and the pressures of leadership can leave you feeling overwhelmed and isolated, particularly when you’re expected to carry everything alone. The constant demand to be resilient, composed, and available can slowly take its toll, often without space to pause or be heard.
As a Black teacher or senior leader, these pressures can be intensified by systemic biases, cultural expectations, and the ongoing emotional labour that frequently goes unseen and unacknowledged. Navigating leadership while holding these additional layers can feel heavy, complex, and deeply personal.
Together, we can explore your unique experiences and challenges, creating space for reflection and understanding. Through fresh perspectives and supportive dialogue, we can work towards strengthening your wellbeing in ways that feel sustainable, affirming, and rooted in your lived experience.
